This imperial stout was created with a higher than normal dose of chocolate malt as well as premium cocoa nibs. Vanilla was added to heighten the presence of the cocoa but not to stand out on its own. The result is a deliciously smooth beer featuring all the great qualities of bittersweet chocolate – some roastiness, some fruitiness and an unmistakable dark chocolate finish.
