You know the “Made in KC” stores? Think of Local Liquid as a cool, online store version of “Made in KC,” but focusing entirely on beverages of all types produced in the KC metro area including: coffee, beer, wine, spirits, kombucha, juices and more. If it’s a drink and made in KC, we’ll likely carry it for you to buy and enjoy.
Our goal is to bring you the best, newest, and most exclusive beverages and re-up our inventory on a weekly basis. So, we will feature an order window each week… let’s say Monday/Tuesday when you can place orders. Then we will set up delivery and pickup windows for the orders later in the week.
We will start with only the drive-up order pickup at launch to test our systems out and begin to add delivery routes in Spring 2025 to areas in KCMO with the most demand.Â
We talked to many of you when we did consumer research for Local Liquid. One thing you told us over and over was that you were tired of paying for the product, delivery fee, and a tip to get products delivered. We listened.
So, there won’t be tipping for our drivers. We will build those costs into our product pricing and delivery fees so you don’t have to worry about tipping, but we can still support our staff and keep our lights on.
Nope. All our delivery drivers will be Local Liquid staff. So, the people who deliver your order will know about the products and your order — and, hopefully, get to know you, too.
You would have to drive all over the metro to find all the products Local Liquid will carry. We will do the hard work for you and bring the best the city has to offer in one, online store. And, no shade to online stores, but Local Liquid’s store is going to be chock full of fun pics, videos, and information about local companies so you will have fun shopping, plus learn more about our local companies.
They are psyched. Every single company we’ve approached is very excited to get going. And, the best part is they are bringing us really creative, fun ideas.

We wanted to support local businesses in a creative, new way and we know many of you work from home or have busy lives. The best way to do that was bringing the best of KC to you.

Nope. We want to keep this flexible for folks who just want to pick up their order. Or, for Kansas residents who can’t legally get alcohol delivered to them and need to come grab orders here.
STEP 1: Place your order online, then pull up to our warehouse located on 65th Street between Rockhill Road and Troost Ave. anytime Noon-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
STEP 2: Ring the doorbell under our sign or call the store at 816-256-5656.
STEP 3: We will bring your order right out! Please provide your order number and have your ID handy so we can confirm your order details.
