Rieger Premium Wheat Vodka

Our Premium Wheat Vodka is a modern day J. Rieger & Co. creation as the
original distillery never produced Vodka, a spirit that wasn’t known in the
US until the 1950s. We start with the highest quality 100% Wheat grain
neutral spirit (GNS). While corn is the most popular base for American
made vodka because it’s the cheapest grain, wheat gives us the cleanest
and most pleasant flavor. Using the techniques that he has acquired from
Master Distillers Dave Pickerell and Tom Nichol, Head Distiller Nathan Perry
gives the Wheat GNS a final distillation in our 750-gallon copper pot still.
This allows us to round out the texture of the spirit while preserving its
naturally soft, sweet flavor. Our Premium Wheat Vodka is the perfect base
for classic cocktails such as the Moscow Mule or Vodka Martini, or as the
base for creative new cocktails.
