What is Local Liquid?

Local Liquid is Kansas City’s Indie Coffee Club — a membership that brings freshly roasted coffee from the best independent KC roasters straight to your door. Each week we feature a different Partner Roaster, so members get whole bean coffee from local favorites like Thou Mayest, Oddly Correct, Broadway Cafe, Blip, Kinship, and more — rotating through the city’s most passionate roasters so every bag tells a new story about Kansas City’s coffee scene.

Joining the club is simple: choose your roast preference (regular or espresso), your bag size (12oz or 2lb), and how often you want a delivery (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). Each time your delivery rolls around, you’ll get the freshest roast from that week’s featured Partner Roaster. We handle the rest, shipping directly to your home or office anywhere in the country. Whether you’re a Kansas City native who wants to stay connected to your favorite local spots, or someone who’s never visited but loves great coffee, Local Liquid is your direct line to the KC independent coffee community.

Our pricing reflects shipping costs to different regions. When you checkout, your final price will be calculated based on your shipping zone. States closer to Kansas City have lower pricing (starting at $23.99), while West Coast states are slightly higher ($30.99) — but shipping is always included with no hidden fees!

Monthly members receive their delivery on the week of the third Wednesday of each month. This gives every monthly member a consistent, predictable delivery window — same week, every month. You’ll receive a tracking email when your order ships.

Absolutely. You can update your delivery frequency, bag size, or coffee type (regular or espresso) any time from your My Account dashboard. Changes need a couple of weeks to take effect considering our ordering/shipping/delivery schedule.

Yes! You can pause your membership or skip an upcoming delivery anytime from your account. We don’t believe in trapping people in commitments they don’t want. Just a heads up — if you’re pausing, please reach out to us at Cheers@localliquid.com to coordinate timing so we can make sure you don’t accidentally miss a bag. We’re happy to help get it just right.

Yes. You can cancel anytime from your My Account dashboard with no penalties or fees. We’d love to know why you’re leaving so we can keep improving — but there’s no pressure.

Do you ship to all 48 continental states?

Yes! We ship to every continental US state. Pricing varies by shipping zone to reflect actual shipping costs, but shipping is always included in the price you see at checkout — no surprise fees!

What roasters are featured?

We rotate through our partner roaster lineup each week. Current partners include: Broadway Cafe & Roasting, Oddly Correct, Post Coffee Company, Blip Roasters, Kinship Cafe, Thou Mayest Coffee, Sway Coffee, Uplift Coffee, and Crow’s Coffee — with more roasters coming soon!

We rotate through all our partners on a set schedule. We can’t guarantee a specific roaster for your delivery, but every roaster in our lineup has been carefully selected for quality. You might discover a new favorite!

Let us know! We are always looking for new partners. If the coffee is top notch, let’s chat. Send us a note at Cheers@localliquid.com with the roaster’s name and we’ll check them out.

Shipping and Delivery

How long does shipping take?

We use USPS Priority Mail. Most orders arrive Monday–Wednesday on your delivery week, depending on your location.

Setup timing depends on your membership type. Weekly and bi-weekly memberships typically take 2–3 weeks to kick in as we sync you into our delivery rotation. Monthly memberships can take up to a month to process since deliveries go out on the third Wednesday of each month. You can always check your delivery schedule in your Account dashboard. You’ll receive a tracking email as soon as your first order ships.

Absolutely! That’s exactly why we exist. Whether you’re in California, New York, or anywhere in between, we’ll ship your KC coffee fix right to your door. Perfect for KC transplants missing hometown coffee!

Gifts

How do gift memberships work?

Gift memberships are paid in full at purchase. The recipient receives a welcome email to start their deliveries. When the gift period expires, they’ll receive an email with the option to renew and continue as a club member at regular member pricing. Pricing varies by the recipient’s shipping zone.

Yes! Add your personal message during checkout and we’ll include it with the gift notification email sent to your recipient.

Loyalty Card & Perks

What's the 2026 Loyalty Card?

Every Indie Coffee Club member receives a loyalty card redeemable for one free drip coffee at participating Partner Roaster locations throughout Kansas City. It’s our way of connecting you with the roasters behind your coffee — and giving you a reason to visit in person.

Participating locations are listed on your loyalty card. We’ll keep this updated as new partners join. Email Cheers@localliquid.com for the current list.
